Personal Summary

Nathan Ligtenberg, D.C., is one of the only two doctors of the Ortman Clinic that isn’t, in some way, related to the founder, Amon. His journey to the Ortman Clinic started at the South Dakota State University in Brookings, where he received a Bachelor of Science in Biology. Then, Dr. Ligtenberg went to the Southern California University of Health Science (Whittier, CA) to become a Doctor of Chiropractic. His first position at a chiropractic practice was First Avenue Chiropractic in Denver,

CO. Now, he’s come full circle back to his native home of Canistota and the Ortman Clinic.

Dr. Ligtenberg is married with three children, Nash, Nellie and Nixon. He and his wife Jessica enjoy spending time with their children and taking part in their activities.
