Personal Summary
Dr. Todd grew up in Canistota, SD and is a 4th generation doctor. He is the great-grandson of the Ortman Clinic’s founder, Dr. Amon Ortman, grandson of Dr. Stan Weiland and son of Dr. Lon Weiland. His grandmother, Irene, was the daughter of Dr. Amon and married Dr. Stan, which is how the Weiland name ties into the clinic. Dr. Todd started practicing at the Ortman Clinic in 2001, after pursuing degrees from the University of South Dakota and Northwestern Health Sciences University to ultimately receive his Doctor of Chiropractic. Outside of chiropractic care, Dr. Todd has a number of other interests, like boating, camping, golf, sports, traveling and anything outdoors. He especially loves these activities when his wife, Jody and their three children, Brooks and twins Jaxtyn and Jiahna, are involved.
“It’s been a privilege and honor to be a doctor here at the Ortman Clinic. Being a 4th generation chiropractor has been special and it’s been unique working here. Every day varies, with the groups of people we have here, the diversity, and the various conditions we see from day to day. It’s fun and rewarding to be able to help people with their pain and overall health complaints. I enjoy treating all ages of people, from infants and kids to the elderly. It’s been great to get to know so many dedicated patients who have enjoyed coming to our clinic over the years.”
